Sponsorships from Alliant Energy Bring Two Winter Events Back to FDL

A sponsorship from Alliant Energy is bringing the World Ice
and Snow Sailing Association World Championships back to Fond du Lac in February. 

The six-day racing
event is the longest running international competition in the sport of
windsurfing. The events include course racing, slalom, speed racing, and
freestyle for kites, sails, and wings. 

Along with the world championships, Fond du Lac and the Lake
Winnebago Region will also be hosting the Sturgeon Spectacular – where Alliant
Energy will also serve as the presenting sponsor. That event draws in thousands
of visitors from across the Midwest.
