Sporadic Damage Reported As Storms Pass Through Area

Scattered thunderstorms rolled through the area Sunday evening, July 16, 2023 bringing much needed rain, but also some reports of damage.

Around 7:45, a severe thunderstorm was reported moving through the Fox Cities with reports of tree damage in Neenah and Menasha.

At around 8:30, a storm formed in western Fond du Lac County and moved east into the city of Fond du Lac around 8:45. While no warnings were issued with this storm, hail up to an inch was reported in the city of Fond du Lac as well as wide spread wind damage to trees, powerlines and unsecured household items that were outside.

On first street between Park Avenue and Everett Street a tree was reported completely down blocking the road.

Also around 8:45, Manitowoc County had a storm roll through with damage reported to powerlines.
