–An RBI single from Javier Baez tied the game in the ninth, then a two-run home run from Kris Bryant in the 10th gave the Cubs a win in game one of their four-game series with the Brewers at Miller Park. The Brewers trailed 2-1, but an RBI single from Eric Sogard in the seventh tied the game and a run-scoring single from Eric Thames in the eighth gave the Brewers the lead before the bullpen faltered late. Game two of the series is tonight, Brandon Woodruff gets the start for Milwaukee while John Lackey goes for the Cubs. First pitch is 6:30 pm, no broadcast on KFIZ due to High School Football.

NFL:
The Packers have signed defensive tackle Ricky Jean Francois and placed offensive lineman Jason Spriggs on injured reserve. Francois signed a free agent deal with Green Bay this past offseason, appearing in the season opener against Seattle before being released on September 13th. Spriggs has been dealing with a hamstring injury that kept him out of last week’s game against Atlanta.
Packers linebacker Nick Perry needs surgery on his hand. It’s the second time in as many years that Perry will need surgery on one of his hands, although Mike McCarthy wouldn’t say if its the same hand or same injury that made Perry miss two games last season.
Thursday Night Football:
LA Rams 41, San Francisco 39
–Jared Goff threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns and Todd Gurley ran for two scores as the Rams held off a late charge by the 49ers to win on Thursday Night Football.
