–Colton Wasieleski ran for four touchdowns in the win for the Cardinals, their sixth straight win. Fondy hosts Neenah next Friday.

Boys Soccer:

–Hunter Kollman netted two goals for Fondy, Ben Dorst had two for WLA as the Cardinals and Vikings played to a tie in non-conference action.

–For North Fond du Lac: Kayla Duel had nine kills, Jasmine Spittel 20 digs, Ashley Now had 17 assists. For Laconia: Hailey Bartz had four aces and 24 assists, Haley Rens had 17 digs, Taylor VandeBerg recorded 12 kills.

Girls Tennis:

Fond du Lac’s Ally Gietzel won the championship match for number 3 singles at the Fox Valley Association Tournament in Oshkosh. Madalyn Kleinke and Jaime Ayer lost in their championship matches. Kellie Hierl won the third place match for number 1 singles. The Cardinals totaled 36 tournament points to finish in a third place tie with Appleton North. Neenah won its sixth consecutive FVA championship at the tournament with 60 tournament points.

NFL:

Green Bay 35, Chicago 14

–Aaron Rodgers threw for 179 yards and four touchdowns and the Packers defense got four takeaways as Green Bay demolished Chicago at Lambeau Field on Thursday Night. Two of Rodgers’ touchdowns went to Jordy Nelson, who had four catches for 75 yards. Randall Cobb and Davante Adams caught the other touchdown passes for the Packers. Adams left the game on a stretcher after a hard helmet-to-helmet hit by Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan in the third quarter. He was taken to a hospital for evaluation and treatment of a possible concussion and a head/neck injury. Rookie running back Aaron Jones had 13 carries for 49 yards and a score, after Ty Montgomery and Jamaal Williams left the game with injuries.

Bears quarterback Mike Glennon threw two interceptions and lost two fumbles in the game, as the Bears trailed 21-0 before scoring just before halftime.

Green Bay travels to Dallas next Sunday.

National League:

Milwaukee 4, Cincinnati 3

–Neil Walker went 2 for 3 with a double as the Brewers won the series finale with the Reds at Miller Park and closed within two games of Colorado for the second Wild Card spot in the National League. The Brewers head to St. Louis for the final three-game series of the regular season, coverage begins at 6:40, first pitch at 7:15 on KFIZ.
