For the 1st time
in 92 years the Packers will open the season with two games on the road.  Green Bay will
open the season on Sunday, September 11th at Jacksonville
Green Bay
will then open up the Vikings new stadium on Sunday Night Football on September
18th.  The home opener is September
25th against DetroitGreen
will have five primetime games including, a pair
at Lambeau on Sunday Night, October 9th against the Giants and
Thursday October 20th hosting the Bears.  The Pack will face the Viking at Lambeau on
Christmas Eve.


The Tennessee Titans have
traded the #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft to the St. Louis Rams for a boat
load of draft picks.


Jaime Garcia gave up just 1
hit and struck out 13 as he dominated the Brewers 7-0 on Thursday
afternoon.  Wily Peralta dropped to 0-3
giving up 5 runs and 7 hits in 5 innings of work. The Brewers open up a three
game weekend series in Pittsburgh
tonight.  Jimmy Nelson gets the start for
Milwaukee. The
Pirates counter with Jeff Locke.

swept MSOE on Thursday winning 2-0 and 8-5. 
The Sabres are 17-7 on the season.


Oshkosh North edged the Fond du Lac baseball team
1-0 on Thursday afternoon.  The Spartans
tallied an unearned run off of starter Peyton Head, who struck out 7 in six
innings of work.

Thursday.  WLA was 2nd.  The Vikings Chris Colla won the meet with a
35.  The Ledgers Patrick Treichel was 2nd
with a 38. 


St. Mary’s Springs Academy’s
Brady Sarauer signed a national letter of intent to play college golf at UW-Green Bay


Chilton was 4th
and New Holstein 7th at the ECW Meet at The Bull at Pinehurst Farms.  Sheboygan
won the meet. Chilton’s
Alex Brandt was one shot off the pace with a 41.
