Clay Matthews and Morgan Burnett both practiced on Thursday and are
expected to play in the Packers game on Sunday against Detroit. 
Matthews left the Bengals loss with hamstring injury and Burnett hasn’t
played all season.  Coverage begins at

Gamel To Cubs
A day after being placed on waivers former Brewers first baseman Mat Gamel was
claimed by the Chicago Cubs. Taylor Green cleared waivers and will be assigned
to Triple-A Nashvile.

 

High School Football
We’ve got three high school football games this week at Mountain Dog
Media.  On Friday night, Fond du Lac hosts Oshkosh West at Fruth
Field.  Coverage begins at 5:30pm with
the kickoff at 7pm on KFIZ and kfiz.com. 
Also on Friday night, St. Mary’s Springs travels to North
Fond du Lac.  You’ll hear it
on K107.1-FM presented by BCI Burke Company. 
On Saturday, WLA hosts KML for Homecoming.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.  Coverage begins at 12:30pm with the kickoff
set for 1pm.

 

Girls Tennis
Fond du Lac
hosted the FVA Tennis Meet on Thursday. 
In #1 singles, Fond du Lac’s
Nicole Feltz finished 2nd.  Maddie Bahr was 4th at #2 singles.
Grace Kisch of Fond du Lac
won the #3 Singles Consolation Bracket.   Fondy’s #2 doubles team of Grahl and Acheson
won the Consolation Bracket.  As a team Fond du Lac tied for 6th.  Neenah
won the event.

Cross Country
The Campbellsport boys cross country team finished
3rd out of 13 at the Slinger Owl Invitational on Thursday only 9 points behind
first place Markesan.  Sam Candee led the Cougars finishing 4th in a
career best 17:44.  Chase Lindgren was 8th and Casey Ruplinger 10th. The
Cougar girls were 11th in the meet.  Toni Hundertmark was the top runner
for Campbellsport in 30th place.
