The Brewers rallied for five runs in the 6th innings to beat Washington 8-5 on Sunday afternoon at Miller Park. Jeff Bianchi drove in three and Juan Francisco a pair for Milwaukee. John Axford picked up the win in relief of Kyle Lohse. Jim Henderson notched his 15th save of the season. The Brewers head out west as they open up a four game series in San Francisco tonight. Tyler Thornburg gets the start for Milwaukee. Coverage begins at 8:40pm on KFIZ.

Suspensions Coming in MLB
Reports say that 14 players will be suspended by Major League Baseball today for their ties to a lab in Miami that distributed performance enhancing drugs. Yankees star Alex Rodriguez is expected to be suspended through the entire 2014 season.
Bulaga Out?
Packers left tackle Bryan Bulaga injured his knee at some point during the Family Night Scrimmage. Bulaga took part in the full scrimmage and reported the injury after the practice was done. Reports say that injury could be a torn ACL and end his season.

The Packers will get back on the practice field today after taking Sunday off. Today’s workout is closed to the public. Tuesday’s 8:20am practice will be open as Green Bay gets ready for their preseason opener against Arizona on Friday night. You’ll hear it on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
Report: Vince Young To GB?
ESPN is reporting that sources have told them that veteran QB Vince Young will workout for the Packers today. The Packers currently have Graham Harrell and BJ Coleman as backups to Aaron Rodgers. Coleman threw two interceptions in Saturday night’s Family Night Scrimmage.

Tiger Tunes Up
Tiger Woods is feeling good heading into this week’s PGA Championship after a seven shot win at Bridgestone on the PGA Tour. Woods was -15 for the event, seven shots better than Keegan Bradley’s -8. Steve Stricker was 13th, twelve shots off the pace.

Cardinal Stritch Honored For Academics
The 2012-2013 Cardinal Stritch women’s basketball team, which featured three area players was recently honored by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association for their work in the classroom. The team had a average GPA of 3.595, Fond du Lac grad Karson Stacey, along with Lomira’s Liz and Emily Neitzel were members of the team that went 27-8 and finished 2nd in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
