The United
States Men’s Soccer Team was just seconds away from advancing to the knockout
round of the World Cup in Brazil
when Portugal’s
Ronaldo set up the game tying goal to force a 2-2 draw. Now team USA must wait
until Thursday to have a chance to advance.
A win or draw against the Germans will get to USA to the next round. They could
also still advance with a loss depending on how the Ghana
vs. Portugal
match goes.

Michelle Wie has
finally broke through and won a major.
Wie’s -2 total took the U.S. Women’s Open by two shots over Stacy Lewis
at Pinehurst #2.  A 25-foot birdie on #17
secured the win after her lead was cut to 1 with a double on 16.

Kevin Streelman
birdied the final seven holes to win the Travelers Championship by 1 shot over
Sergio Garcia and KJ Choi.

The Bucks will
pick 2nd in the NBA Draft later this week.  Kansas
big man Joel Embid was thought to be the #1 or #2 pick but a broken foot will
push him out of the top three.  The Bucks
will most likely end up with Kansas
Allen Wiggins or Duke’s Jabari Parker.  Cleveland has the #1 pick.
