Jason Kidd could
be the next head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks. The New York Post was first to
report over the weekend that the current Brooklyn Nets coach went to the
organization with demands to have more of a role in the player personnel
department.  That was denied the Bucks
apparently asked permission to speak with Kidd about becoming their new head
coach.  Kidd has a personal relationship
with new Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry. The Nets are asking a #1 pick in compensation
for Kidd, the Bucks are offering a 2nd round pick.  If the deal gets done, Kidd will replace
Larry Drew who still has two years left on his initial three year
contract.  It appears Kidd would be just
a coach in Milwaukee
and current GM John Hammond and his staff would be safe if the deal is
completed.

The Colorado
Rockies avoided the season sweep by the Brewers, picking up a 10-4 win at Miller Park
on Sunday afternoon. Yovani Gallardo got roughed up for 8 runs and 10 hits over
just five innings of work.  Former Brewer
Jorge De La Rosa got the win. Ryan Braun hit his 11th homer in the
loss. The Brewers take today off and open up a quick two game series in Toronto on Tuesday
night.  Milwaukee
still leads the NL Central by 6.5 games over St. Louis
and Cincinnati.
