Brewers Fall
Mike Fiers gave up 7 runs in 1 and two-thirds innings as the Phillies stopped the Brewers 7-5 on Sunday. The Brewers bullpen put up goose-eggs the rest of the way and the bats woke up late with 4 runs in the 8th and another in the 9th to make it close. The big blow in the 8th was a Jonathan Lucroy bases loaded triple that was first called a home run, but the umpires reversed it after looking at the replay. The Crew opens up a three game series with Oakland tonight at Miller Park. Marco Estrada gets the start for Milwaukee. Coverage begins at 6:35pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
