Travis Frazier’s two-out double in the 10th off of Tyler Thornburg lifted the Reds to a 4-3 win over the Brewers on Sunday afternoon. Scooter Gennett and Khris Davis homers helped Milwaukee build a 3-1 lead. Brandon Phillips hit a solo shot in the 8th to tie. Milwaukee wasted a chance to take the lead in the 10th after Davis led off with a double and then failed to get a bunt down to move him over setting up Frazier’s heroics. The Brewers went 3-4 on their road trip but still lead the NL Central by five games over St. Louis. Milwaukee opens up a 9 game homestand tonight against Arizona. The Big Ten and Big East have announced a challenge series to kickoff the men’s college basketball season. The Dave Gavitt Tip-Off Games will pit 8 teams from each league against each other to start the season through 2020. The series begins in the 2015-2016 season.
