Multiple reports have
confirmed that the Wisconsin Badgers will hire Pitt head coach Paul Chryst as
their next football coach.  Athletic
Director Barry Alvarez said on Friday that legally he can not hire a new coach until
December 17th because of how state laws a state job to be posted in
the state.  Gary Andersen was introduced
as the new Oregon
State
coach on Friday.

Gordon is in New York
for the Heisman Trophy ceremony.  Gordon
is a finalist along with Oregon QB Marcus Mariota and Alabama WR Amari Cooper.

 

The Packers travel to Buffalo on Sunday for a
matchup with the Bills. Coverage begins at 10am with the kickoff set for Noon
on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.

In the Horizon League Green
Bay hosts Drake in a non-conference matchup at the Resch Center.  The tip is set for 4pm. 

 

Marian University will hosts a basketball doubleheader this afternoon
against Concordia, Chicago.  The women
will tip at 2pm with the men to follow at 4:15pm.   Admission will be FREE to all fans attending
today’s games.

 

The UW-Fond du Lac men’s
basketball team edged UW-Marshfield 68-64 on Friday night.  Fondy grad Collin Pickart had 22 points and
10 rebounds. Lomira’s Sawyer Hoff added 10. 
The Falcons improve to 5-5 overall and 2-2 in league play.
