The Brewers lost to the Cubs

Oshkosh North took command
of the Valley Football Association South with a 21-14 win at Fruth Field on
on Friday night. North’s Jared Dittmer
caught three touchdown passes from quarterback Alex Hintze to account for all
three Spartan scores. Dittmer’s first TD
reception came with 6:36 left in the 1st quarter to give
lead. Fondy tied it at 7-7 with just :58
second left in the half when Justin Maratik scored from one yard out. Dittmer caught touchdown passes of 10 and 34
yards to make it 21-7 through three quarters.
Ryan Collien pulled down a 31 yard TD pass in double coverage to make it
a one score game with 7:02 left in the 4th quarter but Fondy’s
offense couldn’t muster a game tying drive late. The loss drops
overall. Oshkosh North improves to 4-0
in the league and 5-1 overall. Fondy
heads to Titan Stadium to take on Oshkosh West next Friday night in a game

St. Mary’s Sprigs improved
to 6-0 on the season and 4-0 in the Wisconsin Flyway Conference with a 44-0 win
over Winnebago Lutheran on Friday night at Viking Field. St. Mary’s Springs senior Zach Hintze kicked field goals of 23, 41, and 50
yards. The win clinches a playoff spot
for the Ledgers. The will host Mayville
