The Packers stopped the Rams 21-7 in a preseason game on Saturday afternoon in St. Louis. Aaron Rodgers played two series and led the team to a pair of scores. Rodgers hit Randall Cobb on a 3 yard TD pass on their first possession and then Green Bay’s Mason Crosby hit a 31 yard field goal on the 2nd drive. The Packers will host the Raiders on Friday night.
Ryan Braun and Carlos Gomez homered as the Brewers edged the Dodgers 3-2 on Saturday night in LA. Yovani Gallardo was the winner while Clayton Kershaw took the loss. K-Rod notched save #38 on the season. The series wraps up this afternoon. Coverage begins at 2:35pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ.
The Fond du Lac girls tennis team went 3-0 to open their season on Saturday. Nicole Feltz went 3-0 at #1 singles.
