Football:

8-Man: Oakfield 20, Valley Christian 8. Game called in the 2nd quarter after a Valley Christian player sustained a serious injury.

Boys Volleyball:
Fond du Lac competed in the Racine Park invite. In pool play the Cardinals Lost to Homestead (18-21 & 15-21), beat Kenosha Bradford (21-14, 21-17), and lost to Fort Atkinson (17-21, 20-22). In he consolation round, Fond du lac beat Cedarburg 25-16 and lost to Waukesha South 27-26.
Girls Golf:
Fond du Lac HS Invitational (at Rolling Meadows Golf Course):
The Cardinals’ Cassidy Kahl finished in 22nd with a 93.
Cross Country:
Fond du Lac Boys and Girls teams competed at Menomonee Falls on Saturday. On the boys side Noah Tagliapietra finished in third place while teammate Kiernan Koepke finished in 6th individually. The Fondy boys finished in second place as a team with a 130 team score. For the Fondy girls, Liz Ziegler was a top-15 finisher (#14).
College Football:
The Badgers blasted Akron 54-10 in the home opener at Camp Randall Stadium. Corey Clement ran for two scores and Bart Houston tossed two TDs to Jazz Peavey in the win. The Badgers are now 2-0 and will host Georgia State next Saturday.

Brewers lose to the Cardinals 5-1. Corey Knebel gave up 4 of the 5 runs in the 8th. Only Brewers run came on a solo homer from Keon Broxton. Final game of the series is today. No broadcast due to Packers football.
