–Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 37 points and pulled down 13 rebounds as the Bucks won the season opener in Boston. Malcom Brogdon added 19 points on 3 of 5 shooting from three-point range in the win. The Bucks have their home opener on Friday, welcoming Cleveland to the Bradley Center.

College Hockey:
The Marian Men’s Hockey Team was picked to finish fourth in the NCHA preseason poll. The Sabres received 78 points in the poll, finishing behind Adrian College, who was picked to finish first with eight first place votes, St. Norbert is picked second, who received four first place votes, and St. Scholastica in third. The Sabre men open at home against Trine University on November 3rd.
The Marian Women’s Hockey Team was picked to finish fifth in the NCHA preseason poll. The Sabres received 48 points to place behind Adrian (78 points, 6 first place votes), Lake Forest (76 points, four first place votes), St. Scholastica (65 points) and Concordia-Wisconsin (51 points). The Sabre women open on the road at St. Mary’s of Minnesota on October 27th.
