Streak Ends

The Brewers 9 game win streak ended last night with a 2-1 loss in San Diego.  The game ended in bizarre fashion.  With a runner on 2nd and two out, Martin Maldonado fouled a ball off of his body. The ump ruled he had already left the batters box and called him out. Replay showed he was still in the batters box. Edinson Volquez pitched 5 hit ball over seven scoreless innings to notch the win.  Marco Estrada gave up just 2 runs over six and a third innings to get hung with the loss.  The Brewers take today off and open up a series against the Dodgers in Los Angeles on Friday night.
