The St Louis
Cardinals blanked the Brewers 2-0 on Wednesday night.  Brewers starter Mike Fiers took a no-hitter
into the 6th before Adam Wainwright broke it up.  Wainwright also spoiled the Brewers day at
the plate, throwing the complete game seven hitter that included 7 K’s.  The Cardinals plated both of their runs in the
7th inning.  The loss leaves
the Brewers 5 games behind St. Louis
in the N.L. Central and 2.5 games behind the Pirates in the race for the final
Wild Card.  The Pirates have won 10 of
their last 12 after last night’s 9-1 win over Boston
The Cubs also beat the Reds 3-1 last night.   The Brewers and Cardinals wrap up their
series tonight as Kyle Lohse takes on Shelby Miller.  Coverage begins at 6:40pm on News-Talk 1450

now.

The Packers
