Kyle Lohse threw
a two hit complete game shutout as the Brewers kept their slim playoff hopes
alive with a 5-0 win over the Reds on Wednesday night. The Giants were beaten
by the Dodgers 9-1 so Milwaukee is four games
back of San Francisco
for the final Wild Card spot in the N.L. with four games to play.  The Brewers and Reds wrap up their series
this morning.  Coverage begins at 11am
with the first pitch at 11:35am on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ. 

 

The Braves beat Pittsburgh 6-2 and the Cubs were 3-1 winners over St. Louis so the
Cardinals still hold a 1.5 game lead over the Pirates in the N.L. Central.  The Dodgers also clinched the N.L. West last
night.

 

The Packers
continue to get ready for the Chicago Bears on Sunday at Soldier Field.  Green
Bay
has struggled on offense this year and is in
danger of dropping to 1-3 on the season and 0-2 in the NFC North with a
loss.   Sunday’s game kickoff is set for
Noon with the pregame set for 10am on KFIZ.

 

Week 4 of the
NFL season gets going tonight as Redskins host the Giants.  Coverage begins at 7pm on News-Talk 1450
KFIZ. 

 

The Wisconsin
Badgers will host South Florida on Saturday at Camp Randall.
Coverage begins at 9am with the kickoff at 11am on KFIZ.

 

A grand jury has
decided not to charge NASCAR driver Tony Stewart in the death of a fellow
driver in a sprint car race this past summer. Prosecutors said that a
toxicology reports said that Kevin Ward, Junior was under the influence of
marijuana when he went onto the track and was hit by Stewart and killed at a
race in upstate New York
on August 9th.

football teams hosts Oshkosh North on Friday night for Homecoming while St.
Mary’s Springs plays at WLA.  You’ll hear
