Monday Night Football

Baltimore’s Justin Tuckers kicked a 61 yard field goal with
:38 seconds left to beat the Lions 18-16 I Detroit last night on Monday Night
Football.  The win by the Ravens drops
the Lions to 7-7 on the season and also means that the Packers and Bears
control their destiny in the NFC North.
If either team wins out they will win the division. Green
Bay
hosts Pittsburgh on Sunday while
the Bears travel to Philadelphia.  The longtime rivals meet at Solider Field in Chicago on the final Sunday
of the NFL season.

If the Packers want to win the NFC North having Aaron
Rodgers back would be a big boost.  Head
coach Mike McCarthy says nothing has changed with Rodgers and his broken
collarbone.  He’ll be evaluated on
Wednesday and they will prepare as if Matt Flynn will start against the
Steelers.  Sunday’s kickoff at Lambeau is
set for 3:25pm.  You’ll hear it on KFIZ.

Badgers Rankings

The Wisconsin Badgers hold steady at #4 in the Association
Press College Basketball Poll this week.
UW is #6 in the Coaches Poll.  Arizona is #1 in both polls followed by Syracuse
and Ohio State.

Bucks Ownership

Bucks owner Herb Kohl told the media on Monday that he is
ready to take on new ownership to partner with in a effort to keep the team in Milwaukee. Senator Kohl
says that if he takes on partners they must be committed to keeping the team in
Milwaukee.  He also with NBA Commissioner David Stern
said that the team needs a new arena if they want to stay in Milwaukee.

Axford Signs

Former Brewers closer John Axford has signed a contract with
the Cleveland Indians.
