The Badger men’s basketball
team leaves for Anaheim
today and the West Regional of the NCAA Tournament.  Wisconsin
will play Baylor on Thursday night.

Rumors were swirling on
Monday that Marquette was ready to hire Virginia Commonwealth’s Shaka Smart to replace
Buzz Williams as their new men’s basketball coach.  Marquette
issued a statement last night saying that was not true. 

 

Buzz Williams was officially
announced as Virginia Tech’s new head coach on Monday. 

 

The Clippers beat the Bucks
106-98 last night in Los Angeles.  Ramon Sessions had 28 for Milwaukee. 

 

The Brewers took Monday off
as they get ready for next Monday’s season opener against the Braves at Miller Park.   The Crew gets back into Cactus League action
this afternoon as they take on the San Francisco Giants.  Coverage begins at 2:55pm.

 

The Packers received an
extra 3^rd and 5^th round pick in the upcoming NFL
Draft.  The picks were as a result of Green Bay losing WR Greg
Jennings and LB Erik Walden last season.
