Brewers Lose

Carlos Gomez hit a pair of homers for the 2nd time in three days but the Brewers lost to the Twins 6-3 on Memorial Day at Miller Park.  Jean Segura also homered in the loss for The Crew.  The quick two game set vs. the Twins wraps up tonight as Alfredo Figaro gets the start for the Brewers.  Scott Diamond starts for the Twins.   Coverage begins at 6:35pm on KFIZ.  After tonight the same two teams will play a pair of games in Minnesota.

Spurs Advance To Finals

Tony Parker scored 37 points as San Antonio swept away the Memphis Grizzlies with a 93-86 win in the NBA’s Western Conference Finals.  Tim Duncan added 15 points and 8 rebounds in the win.  The Spurs now wait for the winner of the Heat-Pacers series. Game Four of that series is tonight in Indiana as the Heat have a 2-1 lead.

 

Clifford Hired By Bobcats

One of the Bucks three finalists for their vacant head coaching position has taken the head coaching job in Charlotte.  The Bobcats hired Lakers assistant Steve Clifford on Monday.  He was scheduled for a 2nd interview this week.  Rockets assistant Kelvin Sampson and Hawks coach Larry Drew have second interviews scheduled.

 

Packers OTA

The Packers begin their 2nd round of OTAs today.  The workout this morning at 11:30am will be open to the public weather permitting
