Packers Make Moves
The Packers have lost linebacker DJ Smith and RB Brandon Saine for the season. Both players suffered knee injuries in Sunday night’s win over Houston. Saine was already placed on Injured Reserve and claimed RB Johnny White off of waivers from Buffalo. The hole at linebacker will be filled in house by either Brad Jones, Robert Francois, or Jamari Lattimore. Head Coach Mike McCarthy also said that linebacker Nick Perry’s knee injury may not be as bad as first thought, but didn’t have a timetable for his return. Sam Shields got kicked in the shin late in Sundays win and may miss the Rams game next this weekend.

The Baltimore Ravens were stung by the injury bug just as bad as the Packers losing All-Pro Ray Lewis for the season with an arm injury and CB Ladarius Webb is lost with an ACL tear.
