It will be a quiet week at 1265 Lombardi Avenue
this week as the Packers bye is on Sunday. 
Head Coach Mike McCarthy thinks that Aaron Rodgers hamstring will be OK
and  be ready to go on November 9th
when the Packers host the Bears for Sunday Night Football.  The team won’t practice again until Monday.

 

The Washington Redskins
rallied behind 3rd string quarterback Colt McCoy to beat the Dallas
Cowboys 20-17 in overtime on Monday Night Football last night.  McCoy threw for 299 yards and ran for a
touchdown in the win.  Tony Romo was
knocked out of the game in the 4th quarter with a back injury.  

 

The San Francisco Giants
look to win their 3rd World Series in 5 years tonight in Kansas City.  The Giants take a 3 games to 2 series lead
into Game 6.  Jake Peavy takes the mound
for San Francisco.  Yordano Ventura gets the start for the
Royals.  The first pitch is set for
7:07pm central on FOX.

 

The NBA season opens tonight
with three games on the schedule as Orlando is
at New Orleans, Dallas
visits San Antonio and Kobe Bryant and the
Lakers host Houston.
The Bucks open up on Wednesday night in Charlotte.  You’ll hear that game on KFIZ.

, St. Mary’s Springs and
Winnebago Lutheran all advanced to the 2nd round of the WIAA
football playoffs   In Division One, Fond du Lac travels to Big
8 champion Middleton on Friday night.  
You’ll hear that game on KFIZ.  In
Division Five, WLA will head to #1 seed Racine St. Catherine’s for a 7pm
kickoff.  In Division Six, St. Mary’s Springs hosts Algoma.  You’ll hear that one on K107.1 presented by
BCI Burke Company.

 

Fond du Lac High School will have a presale for tickets to their playoff
game at Middleton on Friday night.  You
can buy tickets in advance at the Main Office today from Thursday from 7am to
4pm and Friday from 7am to Noon.  You
will also be able to buy them at the gate when you get to Middleton if you
choose.  They are $4 for adults and
students and $1 for kids six and under.
