College Football:

The Wisconsin football team was ranked ninth by the College Football Playoff Committee in their first set of rankings that were released Tuesday night. Making up the top four of the CFP rankings are Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame and Clemson with Oklahoma and Ohio State just outside the top four. Penn State is seventh, with TCU eighth before the Badgers at nine. Miami (FL) rounds out the top 10.

NBA:

Oklahoma City 110, Milwaukee 91

–Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 28 points for the Bucks in the loss. Milwaukee begins a four-game road trip tonight in Charlotte, coverage begins at 5:40, tipoff at 6 pm on KFIZ.

NBA G-League:

The Wisconsin Herd have announced their home opener at the Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh will be pushed back as construction continues at the new facility. The Herd’s season opener on November 17th will now be played at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, The Herd’s games on November 18th and November 28th will also be played at the Bradley Center and will be open to season ticket owners only. The team’s opener in Oshkosh will now be held on Friday, December 1st.

World Series (Game 6):

LA Dodgers 3, Houston 1

–Series tied 3-3. Game seven is tonight in LA. Lance McCullers Jr. starts for Houston while Yu Darvish takes the hill for Los Angeles. First pitch around 7:20 pm central time.

College Soccer:

Three Marian Men’s Soccer players earned all-conference honors from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Tuesday morning. Senior Alonso Fragoso was named to the All-NACC first team, Junior Ian Chacon was named to the All-NACC second team and Senior Grant Meerdink was named All-NACC honorable mention.
