The Blue Jays
edged the Brewers 4-1 on Tuesday afternoon in Toronto
Drew Hutchison handcuffed Brewers hitters, giving up just one run and
three hits in seven innings to notch the win.  
Marco Estrada gave up a pair of solo homers in six innings to get hung
with the loss.  Ryan Braun drove in the
Brewers only run with an RBI double in the 5th.  The series wraps up this morning as Wily
Peralta takes on JA Happ. Coverage begins at 11am with the first pitch set for
11:35pm on News-Talk 1450 KFIZ

The United States men’s soccer team’s run at the
World Cup came to an end on Tuesday, falling in extra time to Belgium
2-1.  The game was tied 0-0 before Belgium jumped
out to a 2-0 lead in extra time.  Belgium moves on to play Argentina in the quarterfinals on Monday after
they were a 1-0 winner over Switzerland.

 

The Milwaukee
Bucks will introduce Jason Kidd to the Wisconsin
media today as their new head coach.   An
11:30am press conference is scheduled with the media.

Bartelt has been named Marian
University
’s Director of
Athletics. Bartelt has served Marian for more than 13 years, and has served as
interim director of athletics, assistant director of athletics for athletic
facilities and as head baseball coach.

Neenah High School senior
center Matt Heldt has given a verbal commitment to play college basketball at Marquette.  Heldt is considered one of the top three
seniors in the state this upcoming school year.
