The Green Bay men’s basketball team will play at Bradley tonight in the CollegeInsider.com tournament. 

 

Bucks Win

The Bucks took down the Portland Trailblazers 102-95 on Tuesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.  Brandon Jennings led the way with 24 points while Monta Ellis chipped in 21 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists.

 

Brewers

The Brewers beat the Angels 6-1 on Tuesday in Cactus League play.  Wily Peralta went six innings, giving up 6 hits and 1 earned run for the Brewers.   The home plate umpire was injured in the game and they actually played part of the game with an umpire calling balls and strikes from behind the pitchers mound.   The Brewers play the Giants this afternoon.

NFL Delays Helmet Rule Vote

The NFL didn’t vote on a proposed new rule that would call a penalty on an offensive player if he puts his head down and delivers a blow to a defender with the crown of his helmet.  You see running backs do this regularly while trying to get extra yards.  Those in favor of the rule say it promotes safety.
