Fond du Lac High School junior Michael Wilson was drafted by the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League on Tuesday. Wilson will be one of 45 players that the organization has the rights to. That number will be cut down to 25 before the Lancers secure a 15-man roster next fall for the 2013-14 season. This past season, Wilson had 34 goals and 40 assists for Fondy, including a hat trick in the state quarterfinals at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. Wilson is the 3rd player under head coach Ryan Sarazin to be drafted by the USHL during his time at Fond du Lac. Sean and Ryan Little both played for the Green Bay Gamblers and then for the University of Wisconsin Badger hockey team.
