Packers
The Packers get back on the practice field today as they get ready for the their trip to St. Louis on Sunday. You’ll hear the game on KFIZ. Coverage begins at 10am with the kickoff set for Noon.
Browns Sold
The Cleveland Browns were officially sold for $1 billion dollars on Tuesday. Team President Mike Holmgren will be phased out and former Eagles President Joe Banner will take over.
Vikings To London In 2013
With the Minnesota Vikings stadium being renovated, they will play the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 29th, 2013. Jacksonville will also play San Francisco in London on October 27th, 2013.
Badgers Host Gophers
The Wisconsin Badgers welcome Minnesota to Camp Randall on Saturday. Coverage begins at 9am with the kickoff set for 11am on KFIZ.
Baseball
The Detroit Tigers are one win away from the World Series after a 2-1 win over the New York Yankees on Tuesday night. Justin Verlander gave up just 1 run and 3 hits in 8 and a third innings of work to notch the win to take a 3-0 series lead. The Tigers can complete the sweep tonight in Detroit. The NLCS continues this afternoon in St. Louis as the Cardinals host the Giants with the series knotted up a 1-1.
Bucks Fall In Preseason
The Chicago Bulls beat the Bucks 100-94 in a preseason game in Chicago on Tuesday night. Brandon Jennings and Mike Dunleavy had 13 points each for Milwaukee. First round pick John Henson left the game with a knee injury. He’ll be examined today. The Bucks are now 2-1 in the preseason.

Clint Dempsey scored 2 goals at the United States stayed alive for the 2014 World Cup with a 3-1 win over Guatemala on Tuesday night.
