Cancer Survivor Summit Planned At YMCA Thursday

SSM Health and the Fond du Lac Family YMCA are teaming together to put on a LIVING STRONG Survivor Summit this Thursday, from 4 to 7 PM.

The event is geared for people that are going through, or have gone through having cancer. The open house style event will offer participants the opportunity to visit a variety of informational booths and speak with representatives on topics such as in home health services that allow you to heal at home, healthy meal solutions, the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program, cancer care, and testing and treatment.

SSM Health will be offering free colon cancer testing and lung screening.

The event is free to attend and is open to the community. Light refreshments will be available, courtesy of Annie’s Fountain City Catering.
