SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic Mt. Calvary certified medical assistant receives BEE Award

Katherine Stephenson, an SSM Health Fond du Lac Regional Clinic Mt. Calvary certified medical assistant, has been named the newest recipient of the BEE (Be Exceptional Everyday) Award.

Stephenson was nominated by a patient’s family member who wrote: “Katherine has always gone above and beyond to make sure my daughter’s MyChart messages are answered and to offer guidance on next steps. Never more did this come true than in the last few weeks. My insurance denied a medical test multiple times but with Katherine’s persistence and time she was able to push forward and provide all necessary documentation when requested, answered all our questions, and had a soothing voice on the other end of the line when phone calls were made.

“The compassionate care and loyalty that Katherine has shown my daughter and family goes beyond anything I can express beside says all the thanks. Thanks for offering these types of awards for people like me to be able to recognize that hard, compassionate care and loyalty done by your nursing staff.”
