SSM Health/St Agnes Surgeries Diverted While Air Handling System Gets Upgrade

SSM Health/St Agnes Hospital is advising that due to upgrading of it’s surgery department air handling system, they will be unable to do surgeries until work is completed which looks to be sometime June 4th.

The hospital has advised area ambulance teams of the situation and they have been instructed to transport any trauma and urgent surgery patients to other facilities in the area.

The hospital says the emergency room will remain open to any critical health care needs such as strokes, chest pains and trouble breathing.
