State Trooper Killed In Sauk County Crash

State Trooper killed in a rollover crash in Sauk County
has been identified. Anthony Borostowski of Tomah was heading east on
Interstate 90/94 between Lake
Delton
and Wisconsin
Dells when he lost control of his squad car. It rolled into a ditch and struck
a tree. According to a statement from Governor Scott Walker the trooper was
also a sergeant in the Wisconsin National Guard. In 2015 the governor presented
Borostowski with the Wisconsin State Patrol’s Lifesaving Award for saving a
man’s life by performing CPR. The governor has issued an executive order
to lower United States and Wisconsin flags in honor
of the trooper.

Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper is dead after a crash in Sauk County Tuesday
morning. Officials say the trooper was heading east on Interstate 90-94 between
Lake Delton and Wisconsin Dells. He lost
control of his vehicle and it rolled into a ditch and struck a tree. He died at
the scene. His name has not been released.
