Stettbacher Earns 1,000 Point in North Fond du Lac Upset and Other Area Scores

North Fond du Lac fresh off a home holiday tournament felt like this was a game for the taking. Winnebago Lutheran Academy did not play over the holiday break but went into the break at the top of the Flyway Conference with an undefeated record. The Orioles handed the Vikings their first conference loss of the season with a 40-37 victory. In the process North Fond du Lac’s Lauren Stettbacher became only the 7th player in North Fond du Lac history to earn 1,000 point. Head coach Gary Kuehl was proud of the moment saying “I think that was just weight off her shoulders, I am looking forward to finishing out her senior year now with not so much pressure to get something she really wanted to get.”
