Storm prompts severe thunderstorm warning for western Fond du Lac County

A line of thunderstorms moved into Fond du Lac County Monday morning, September 22, 2025, prompting a severe thunderstorm warning for the western portion of the county, but it appears it’s bark was worse than it’s bite.

A very ominous looking shelf cloud preceded the storm, which had no severe weather reported with it as it moved across the county, though multiple people on social media did comment on how heavy the rain was during the worst part of the storm.
