Suspect in custody for weekend stabbing in Columbia County

Officials in Columbia County are investigating a stabbing early Sunday morning, June 21, 2026.

Just after midnight, LifeStar EMS, Fall River Police and Columbia County Sheriff’s officials were called to a north Main Street address in the Falls View mobile home park in Fall River.

A caller at the address stated that someone there had been stabbed in the chest during an altercation between two people.

Upon arrival, a deputy stated the man had a deep stab wound to the chest and a secondary stab wound to the side.

The officer also advised that he had a suspect in custody.

The suspect was charged with Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide, and Attempted 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety.
