Suspicious Man Report Causes Lockdown

du Lac police were called to the area of National
and 2nd Street
this morning for a report of a suspicious subject that was seen in the area. Assistant Police Chief Steve Klein says the person believed that the suspicious subject may have a warrant out of Milwaukee and may have
been armed. Klein says the PD had a few officers checking that area to see if anyone
matched the description. Klein added that Marian University apprently sent out a safety text alert to their students which caused some panic. Marian  and other area schools went on lockdown for a short time because of the incident.
