Taylor Sanchez found guilty of first-degree intentional homicide for beating death of cellmate

27-year-old Taylor Sanchez was found guilty of first-degree intentional homicide Yesterday for murdering her cellmate at the Taycheedah Correctional Institute.

Yesterday Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney stated Sanchez withdrew her “Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity” plea and pleaded “no contest” to First Degree Intentional Homicide and was found guilty by Judge Tricia Walker.

Sanchez, who has multiple convictions of battery to prisoners on her record, beat to death 68-year-old
Cindy Schulz-Juedes on July 19, of 2023.

The new plea eliminates the need for a jury trial which was scheduled to begin on July 21.
