Teen Pedestrian Killed On Dodge County Road
Update:
Dodge County Sheriff’s officials say the
17-year-old Juneau man struck and killed by a pickup truck on County Highway G
Sunday night was walking with several friends at the time of the accident. Lukas
Jaeger was in the west ditch when the truck driven by 20-year-old Cody Buechel
of Beaver Dam drove off the road and into the ditch striking Jaeger. Jaeger died
at the scene. None of his friends was hit by the truck. Buechel suffered minor
injuries in the crash. The crash in the Town of Lowell was reported shortly
before 8:30 p.m.

On 09-27-15 at 8:24 pm, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office
responded to a motor vehicle versus pedestrian crash on CTH G and Well Rd.,
Township of Lowell, Dodge County, Wisconsin
Preliminary investigation shows that a 1999 Chevrolet
Silverado which was operated by a 20 year old male was headed northbound on CTH
G when the driver struck a 17 year old pedestrian walking alongside the
roadway.
The 17 year old pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was
pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner’s office.
Assisting at the scene were Reeseville Fire Department,
Lowell Fire Department, Clyman Fire Department, Reeseville First Responder
Unit, Beaver Dam EMS, DCERT, Flight for Life.
At this time names are being withheld pending family
notification.
The Crash remains under investigation By the Dodge County
Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team.
