Three in custody after Fond du Lac County pursuit

Three people are in custody in Fond du Lac County after a brief high speed pursuit last night.

At about a quarter after 11, an officer with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop for an equipment violation on a vehicle northbound on I-41 near Military Road. As the officer walked up to the stopped vehicle, the driver sped away in an attempt to elude the officer. A pursuit was initiated, continuing northbound on I-41.

An officer with the North Fond du Lac Police Department was able to deploy a tire deflation device on the vehicle as it passed County OO, causing the fleeing vehicle to slow it’s speed due to having two flat front tires.
