Three Suspects In FDL Car Vandalism Spree Charged

Three of the suspects in the rash of recent car vandalism in Fond du Lac made their initial appearances in Fond du Lac County Court Wednesday morning. All three; 20-year-olds Zacharias Manthey, Tony Sharratt and 26-year-old Traven Koenigs were charged with criminal damage to property. They and two other young men are accused of riding around in a pickup truck and using baseball bats to smash out windows of more than 60 vehicles. According to the criminal complaint video from a homeowner’s security camera caught one of the incidents. A school resource officer with the Fond du Lac High School got a tip that led to their arrests. Cash bond was set at $5,000 for Koenigs and $2,500 each for Manthey and Sharratt. Preliminary hearings have been scheduled for Friday, September 26th.
