Trucker Identified In Injured Puppy Abandonment

Oshkosh Police have identified the man who left an injured puppy behind a dumpster at the Planeview Truck Stop last week. He’s a trucker from Missouri who admitted leaving the puppy in a black gift bag at the truck stop last Thursday. Police are still investigating the case and no charges have been filed. The injured puppy was taken to a local veterinarian for treatment of a broken pelvis and injured spine. Police also say photos they released of a maroon truck were not that of the suspect’s truck. They apologized for causing any convenience for that trucker.
