Two Appleton people held after “significant amount of methamphetamine” found during traffic stop

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has released information on a traffic stop in late September that led to drug charges for two Appleton people.
According to the release, on September 26th, an officer stopped a vehicle in the parking lot of a local Lomira gas station.
During the stop, a police K9 positively alerted on the vehicle to drugs, and during a subsequent search, a significant amount of methamphetamine and numerous items of drug paraphernalia were found.
The driver, a 41-year-old man from Appleton, and passenger, a 38-year-old female from Appleton, were arrested and booked into the Dodge County Jail.
Both are being held on a $10,000 bond charged with numerous counts related to drug trafficking.
