Two arrested after reaching speeds of 115 mph in chase on rural Fond du Lac County roads

Another high speed pursuit in Fond du Lac County Wednesday, March 11, 2026, nets two more suspects in jail.

At about 6:30 p.m., Dodge County Sheriff’s Office deputies were involved in a vehicle pursuit traveling northbound on I-41 from the Highway 28 Wayside.

The suspect vehicle exited the interstate at Highway 49 near the southern end of Fond du Lac County, and traveled eastbound. Dodge County pursued for about another mile before terminating the pursuit near Butternut Road, with the vehicle last seen traveling northbound on County Highway K in Fond du Lac County.

A deputy with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office later observed the suspect vehicle traveling northbound on County Highway K at 96 mph. The driver failed to stop for the deputy’s emergency lights and siren and continued driving recklessly. At that point, another pursuit was initiated.

The driver turned eastbound onto County Highway F and then north onto County Highway V, at one point reaching speeds of 115 mph.

A deputy deployed a tire deflation device called stop sticks at the intersection of County Highway B and County Highway V in the Village of Eden; however, the deployment was unsuccessful and the driver continued northbound.

A second deputy deployed stop sticks at the intersection of County Highway V and County Highway K. As the driver approached the intersection, they swerved toward the south shoulder, towards the deputy in an attempt to avoid the stop sticks. The vehicle entered the south ditch, crossed County Highway K, and rolled over before coming to rest in the southwest portion of the intersection.

Deputies initiated a high-risk stop on the vehicle, but the occupants were unable to exit the vehicle. Due to the potential for injuries from the crash, deputies approached the vehicle and assisted the occupants out. Two individuals in the vehicle were successfully extricated and evaluated by medical personnel on scene.

Both occupants were transported by ambulance to local hospitals with minor injuries.

The driver, a 23-year-old woman from Menasha who was on probation, was charged with Felony Fleeing/Eluding an Officer, Recklessly Endangering Safety, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Operating with Restricted Controlled Substance.

The passenger, a 20-year-old man from Milwaukee who was also on probation and had an active warrant through Probation and Parole, was charged with of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Both individuals were transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail after being medically cleared.
