Two high profile case subjects sentenced Tuesday in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court
Fond du Lac County District Attorney Eric Toney has released information on two significant cases in Fond du Lac County.
The first involves an August 14, 2023 fentanyl overdose death in the City of Fond du Lac. As a result of that case, Adrian Santiago-Hernandez entered a no contest plea and was found guilty of First Degree Reckless Homicide, as a party-to-a-crime. Bond was revoked for Hernandez and a status conference has been set for January 21.
Toney also announced that Steven Rosales, a former Kewaskum Police Department School Resource Officer, was sentenced on three Class H Felony counts of Bestiality stemming from a case where he was having inappropriate contact with an 18-year-old female student at Kewaskum High School.
In that case, Rosales, who was living in Campbellsport at the time, admitted in texts to the girl, that he had had sex with his dog at his house. The court sentenced Rosales to two years of initial confinement and 3 years of extended supervision on each count.
Rosales still faces three felony charges in Washington County for sexual misconduct by school staff, as well as two charges of misconduct in office. He’s expected back in court for a plea sentencing for those charges in January.
