Two tornadoes touch down in Southern Wisconsin Tuesday

The National Weather Service in Southeast Wisconsin has concluded after doing damage surveys that two tornadoes touched down in Walworth County during Tuesdays storms that raked over the southern part of the state.
The first tornado developed in northern Illinois and tracked into Wisconsin south of Walworth before ending east of Walworth. Damage was done to a barn on the Illinois side near Weidner Rd where it collapsed and landed on a number of sheep that were sheltering there. Another shed was lofted and destroyed along Six Corners Road near Highway 67. This tornado was on the ground for 14 miles and was rated an EF0 with estimated wind speeds of 80 mph.
The second tornado was briefly on the ground south of Darien and hit a horse barn on Wise Road. This tornado was on the ground for just under a mile and was rated an EF1 with an estimated wind speed of 90 mph.
