United Way Reaches Fundraising Goal

It took a little longer than usual, but the Fond du Lac Area United Way reached their $760,000 fundraising goal for the fall 2016 campaign. Executive Director Amber Kilawee says they are grateful to everyone who contributed. She says in late January their board met and made decisions about allocating $580,000 to United Way agencies. She says they will thank everyone with an appreciation lunch on March 23rd. She says it is a chance to recognize all their volunteers, board members and others who contributed to the campaign’s success. She says 28 program partners will benefit from United Way funds this year.
