Update: Suspect In Van Theft In Custody

On Wednesday June 12, 2013 at approximately 6:00 a.m., the Fond du Lac Police Department was notified by the West Allis Police Department that they had located in their jurisdiction the stolen Chrysler Town and Country van that was taken from the Fond du Lac Shopko store on Monday afternoon.  A 19-year old Fond du Lac man was located inside the van and was taken into custody for questioning.  Fond du Lac Police Department Investigators traveled to West Allis to interview the suspect who did admit his involvement in taking the van.  The suspect was transported back to Fond du Lac and is currently being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on arrest charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle With Out the Owners Consent and bail jumping.
