Vigil To Be Held For Johanna Schultz

A vigil for the Eldorado woman found dead in an Omro home Saturday after a man she was in the house with fired multiple shots from a gun before surrendering, will take place at 4:00 pm today in the Dorcas Chapel on the Marian University campus.

20-year-old Johanna Schultz was a current student at Marian.

A statement released from the school says, “It is with deepest regret that I inform you of the unexpected loss over the weekend of one of our Marian family. Johanna Schultz, from Eldorado, was a bright light, hard-working and ambitious woman, who embodied our Marian University spirit. She was working on a double-major, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Health Care Administration and Marketing. She was also an entrepreneur with her own jewelry business.”

Counselors will be on hand at the Vigil and on campus during the week.
