Walker Requests Federal Disaster Declaration

Governor Scott is requesting a federal disaster declaration as storm damage assessments from FEMA exceed $37-million in Wisconsin.  Walker made the request on Thursday for both public and individual assistance from the federal government. A FEMA survey of our area determined Dodge County is not eligible for infrastructure damages from the August tornadoes. But their review did show that 370 private homes were destroyed or suffered major damage.
